CAR DOES NOT LEAVE HERE UNTIL ALL FUNDS CLEAR MY BANK. This is a very cool old drag car. I have the history going back to 1989. I will list what I know about it, but please call me if you need more details.
Body: Very straight and solid. It does have some minor dings and other blemishes. The roof has quite a few small dings, kind of like hail damage maybe or else it was parked under a tree that dropped acorns?
Paint is driver quality and is showing some nice patina. It is not show quality paint. Chrome and trim is nice but just driver quality again. I have a nice trim piece to replace the trim around the right side headlight. Under side is very nice and solid. The right rear floor pan has a patch on it. The lower right quarter panel has had some work done to it. Looks like a dent was fixed and the filler is starting to bubble. The rest of the body and underside appears to have been always rust free. Wiper arms are in the trunk. Suspension: Stock rust free frame that has been modified in the center to accept a one piece drive shaft. In the rear, an additional upper link has been added for strength and traction control.
The front suspension and associated parts are all new. New power disc brakes up front. Drum brakes in the rear. This car drives and stops great.Exhaust: All new exhaust with long tube headers, Dynomax mufflers, and electric cut outs. 030 over 4 bolt main 400 engine with a 350 crank Scat forged steel crank, Scat H Beam rods, AFR 195cc aluminum eliminator street heads (1034-64cc), PBP forged pistons, Comp hydraulic roller cam (CCA 12-444-8), Howards hydraulic roller lifters, Howards 1.5 roller rockers, Edelbrock Victor jr. Intake, Moroso oil pump, 750 Holley carb, Accel ignition. Built 350 turbo transmission with manual valve body, 10 torque converter, B & M pro ratchet shifter, Tucson Differential 12 bolt chevy rear end with 3:42 posi, Dutchman pro axles. It has line lock with button on the shifter.
Wheels and tires: Steel wheels. New Hoosier drag radials on rear. In the trunk is a complete package to convert this car to a manual 4 speed. The pedals are used originals, but everything else is brand new NOS parts. Not in the trunk but included is an original cast iron bell housing. This is a very fast car that can be driven to the track, raced, and driven back home. I have not personally raced it, but I'd say it will run in the elevens very easily, from how it handles on the street. I will give honest answers to any and all questions. My name and number are in with the pictures. There are 2 you tube videos below.
It shows it running, the interior, and the body. The second is from a previous owner in 2016 at a race track, when it had a 283 small block in it.
