This car is turn key and ready to go! The car was basically rotisserie restored and built into a drag car approximately ten years ago.
I have owned this car for almost two years, and I have had a blast with it! It gets complimented every time I have it out, other car guys and racers love it! Car is light weight, about 2650# less driver. I will describe here what I know, as well as what I was told by the builder and previous owner! In the past year I have added the following: Cal Trac split mono leaf springs, Cal Trac Bars, Viking Double Adjustable rear shocks, Holeshot Hole Star wheels, MT 29.5x10.5 Pro Bracket Radials & ET Fronts, PPP custom shifter, and new front coil springs.
Also, I have changed all of the fluids, as well as tuning up the engine. I also had the bumpers custom airbrush painted to mimic the real "chrome" look, they look great! This is what I was told about the drivetrain, which I have no reason to doubt as the previous of owners were always up front and honest about everything with the car. The car runs and drives excellent with no issues, no smoke, no noises, no engine leaks, etc. Mopar 360 block stroked to 408 c.
11:111.5:1 compression. Edelbrock Performer Aluminum heads with Harland Sharpe rocker arms along with upgraded valve springs. Oil pan, Meziere Electric Water Pump, Dual Electric Fans, Edelbrock Intake with 750cfm Holley double pumper. Hydraulic camshaft, unsure of specs. Complete MSD ignition system including distributor, digital 6 box and coil. Car has nice aluminum radiator, never gets hot! Also runs an alternator so don't always have to keep a charger on it. Transmission is a Mopar 727 with all Coan internals, including trans brake. Stall speed is around 4k rpm. Custom driveshaft with Mark Williams Billet Yokes / 1350 u-joints. Moser fabricated 8 3/4 rear axle housing complete with 4.86 gear, Strange spool and axles. 5 Gallon Aluminum Fuel Cell, Holley electric fuel pump with all braided lines. Front suspension is a custom tubular K member, Heidts tubular control arms, Afco single adjustable coil over shocks, Flaming River rack & pinion, and Wilwood disc brakes/master cylinder. Car also has line lock, as well as brake proportioning valve. Finished interior with Mild Steel Roll Cage, Kirkey Seat, AutoMeter Gauges, Nice 5-Point Cam Lock Harness (expired), NEW PPP Shifter. Interior is nice with finished looking door panels, carpet, tinted lexan glass except windshield. Cage has not been certed, but I believe will easily cert for 8.50. Body is super straight with really nice paint, not perfect paint but really nice. Appears to me to be original sheet metal, including floors and trunk pans.One piece fiberglass front end, fiberglass hood, fiberglass deck lid, fiberglass rear bumper. Car is not currently street legal but could be with a little work if someone wanted to put it back on street. In the heat the car runs high 6's in the 1/8th mile at around 98 mph.
