Vintage 15x10 Aluminum Slot Mag Wheels 5 on 4.75 Bolt Pattern GM Cars REAL DEAL

  

This is a true vintage pair of aluminum slot mags. They are for 15 inch tires and the area the tire mounts in is 10 inches wide. The bolt pattern is 4 on 4 3/4 which is the common bolt pattern used on GM passenger cars. The backspacing is about 3 3/4 inches as shown.

These are very hard to find 15x10 wheels. Most wheels from this era were for 14 inch tires and were narrower widths like 6 or 7 inches.

Please confirm your specific application. I see no markings on them except for "2 21 74" stamped into the backside. These wheels came to me with a pair of 15x8.5 wheels that are identical style.

Those wheels have "US Indy Mags" cast into the back of them. I imagine these are the same but I can't say for sure. These wheels are in good original condition overall as shown. The aluminum looks good overall. I gave them a quick non abrasive cleaning to remove dirt and debris. There are various nicks, scratches, and light surface pitting as shown. They will certainly clean up much nicer but I did not want to mess up the current vintage finish in case someone was after this look. Both wheels have been checked and are straight and true. The lug holes all look good and are unmodified. The outer edge of the rims has been drilled front and back for tire bead locks, likely for slicks or heavy street racing.

The wheels can still be used as is or these could be easily welded up before being refinished/polished if that is the direction you plan to go. These are really awesome vintage wheels that would look great on a car as is or could be restored for the nicest of cars.
